The engine in your Nissan needs Direct Ignition Coils to start. When a Direct Ignition Coil is damaged or stops working correctly, you can't fix it and will need a replacement. You could have a bad Direct Ignition Coil if your car won't start, your check engine light is on, your car backfires, or your engine stalls.
